This weekend, Jason and Jimmy will be joining Shiok Ultimate Frisbee Team as they compete in the Malaysia Ultimate Open (MUO) in the Open Division. It’s an exciting opportunity for both players to step into a higher-level competitive environment, gain valuable experience, and test themselves against some of the strongest teams in the region.

For Jason and Jimmy, this tournament is about more than just playing games. It’s a chance to learn firsthand what advanced team structure, leadership, and on-field dynamics look like in action. Competing alongside and against experienced players will give them a clearer sense of the pace, discipline, and decision-making required at a higher level of play. These kinds of experiences are important for growth, especially for players and teams who are still developing and looking to close the gap with more established squads.

Joining Shiok Ultimate also gives them the chance to contribute to a team environment built around competition, communication, and adaptability. Tournaments like MUO are not only about results, but also about understanding how teams organize themselves, respond under pressure, and work together through different game situations. That exposure can be incredibly valuable for building confidence and improving both individual and team performance.
We’re looking forward to seeing Jason and Jimmy take this step and represent the team well at MUO. Best of luck to Shiok Ultimate this weekend.
Enjoy the games, learn a lot, and bring back great experiences for the team! We’ll be cheering from the live screen!
